EIS answers 'a call for solidarity'.
Although it was not possible to hold the E.I.S. School Fair this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to uphold our commitment to charity, thanks to the generosity of our parents and the fund raising efforts of our students. The school which has received our donation was founded in October 1999 in the commune of Ouidah. The founders - The Jah family - are a repatriated Rastafarian family, originally from Guadeloupe. They have been faithfully serving the Axozon/Ouidah communities through their school, which has a special focus on hands-on agriculture, ecology and pan-African history, whilst following the Beninese curriculum. The Jah Family, along with the students, are grateful and heartily thank the E.I.S. community.
