Happy Thanksgiving!

In our celebration of holidays and festivals around the world, we had during this month of November, Diwali: the Hindu ''Festival of Light" and Thanksgiving, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States.
 
Sarah, Marjory and Ketsia of Year 2 wrote a lovely Thanksgiving poem to share, and talked about the many things for which they were grateful in class.

Years 2 and 3 put forth the message in assembly that: Although the world is not perfect, we should all stop, look, listen and think about all that we have for which we can give thanks.

Year Eight, in their study of the topics, Education For All and Renewable Energy, have an inspiring visit to ESMER Academy.

On Thursday, the 13th of June, Year 10 went to Les Ateliers Coffi to see the artwork of Beninese artist, Frigg Toss

On Wednesday, 19th June, Year Two went to PLM Aledjo to see the baby sea turtles.

Photography "opens your eyes to things you normally ignore and makes you be grateful for all the things surrounding you: nature, shadows, and people."

Year 2 make a delicious fruit salad with lots of fresh fruit.
