All pieces of writing entered in the competition were to be written on the theme, “Fêtons Nos Rêves Communs” (‘Let Us Celebrate Our Common Dreams’).  Julien Arthur Carsky, Year 11, was chosen to represent the French class, and gave an eloquent reading of the poem at the prize giving ceremony.
