Special visit from E.I.S. Alumni

Middle and Upper School students started their second term of Friday morning assemblies with a special visit from E.I.S. Alumni, Elia Abboud and Amado Carsky. The young men gave a presentation on 4th January entitled, Career Paths and E.I.S. Memories, which was punctuated with anecdotes, sincere advice and humour.

Elia Abboud, M.D. is a Surgical Research Fellow in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.  Amado Carsky, graduate of the University of Maryland School of Engineering, is a Civil Engineer with the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission.

Year 10 made the delivery to La Maison de l’Espérance.

Years 4 and 5 presented their version of “A Donkey to Market”

On Saturday, 23rd of March 2013, was the School Fair. It was not what I had expected it to be; it was even better. (Rhina Houinato)

Middle School students were eager to express their excitement about the move to the new block of classrooms on the field through the writing of prose and poetry.
