The Globe Theatre of London Touring Company visit
If anyone is thinking of taking revenge upon another person for wrongs, either real or imagined, think again.
Our school had a real treat on Sunday 8th of March when we received a visit from the Globe Theatre of London Touring Company who put on a performance of "Hamlet" on our school field. It is sufficient to say that the revenge idea did not end well.
For the first time, I was able to fully appreciate and follow the plot. I particularly liked the actor who played the part of the King and the ghost.
It was a very convincing performance and gave some excellent pointers to the aspiring actors among our students who will shortly be performing Shakespeare’s "The Merchant of Venice.”
