The Storyteller
On Tuesday, 24th March 2015, we were honoured by the return visit of Mr. Sjoerd vander Goot (‘The Storyteller’) at our Lower School Assembly.
In the words of Julius Orji, Year 5:
The storyteller is funny, creative, friendly and very enthusiastic. He can present a story and keeps it funny. He can play many instruments and he is a good actor. He can talk in front of a crowd. He comes in and ‘rocks the place up,’ and when he leaves, you are sad. He sings well too. He is the kind of person who makes such an appearance to rock your day!
I like the storyteller because he is a very funny storyteller. I like the way he makes all of us laugh as one. He reminds me of my grandfather. – Siphosethu Zwane, Year 5
