Year Two children are happy to play a part in helping to conserve nature
Miral Massry, Year 2
On Wednesday, 19th June, we went to PLM Aledjo. A man wanted to help turtles, as people eat sea turtles. He decided to help nature. He keeps baby sea turtles for one month and a half. After he lets the sea turtles free into the sea. We got to touch the baby sea turtles. They were so small, smaller than my hand. The eggs of the big sea turtle were in the sand. We got to touch the eggs. They were round and white.
Selome Mc Cracken, Year 2
On Wednesday, 19th June 2024, Year Two went on a field trip to a turtle place. We touched eggs that need one or two months for the turtles to get out of their eggs. Then a man will put them into a tank where they grow up. Then the man will free them into the sea. We picked up small turtles and big ones. My friend and I also held puppies, black and brown.
Ellah Shima Mugisha, Year 2
Year Two went on a trip on 19/06/24. We saw sea turtles and we held the sea turtles. It was cute and soft to touch them. We freed the sea turtles at the beach and we saw the eggs. We need to keep the eggs for a month and a half. People can’t eat the eggs.
