Dear Students and Parents of EIS,

First of all, we hope you had a refreshing vacation! As you prepare to come back into the school year and get used to your new classes, we expect that you meet the standards of education that EIS upholds!

This letter goes as a request. A request wherein a small donation on your part could permit those less fortunate than you, to receive the same privileges of going to school, as you have right now.

Terres Rouges is an association active since 2009 in West Africa. It helps, treats, reintegrates and empowers children and young people in danger on the streets by meeting their basic needs, prioritizing psychosocial support, and they have reached out to us asking for our help in ensuring that the 350 school children they manage, get the equipment to attend classes.

We ask you to donate out of the kindness of your heart, and any sum of money will be very much appreciated, but we suggest 1000 cfa for the students of years 1 through 9, and 2000 cfa donations for the students in high school (Years 10-13), as this will be adequate enough to prepare a scholar kit for more than 2 children, out of the 350 we aim to help.

To incentivize this opportunity, students will be allowed to wear mufti (casual clothes) this week Friday (27/09/2024). Remember, by helping children gain access to educational supplies, you are not only helping them, but inherently aiding the country, by boosting a generation of eager, less privileged youth.
