Dear Parents,

As we come to the end of the month of January, we also greet you in the Lunar New Year of the Snake.

I call your attention to the following:

On Saturday, 25th January, some of our Year Nine students performed their classical dance, Snowflakes, beautifully at the Chinese Cultural Centre Gala to welcome in the New Year. We are proud of the magnificent way in which they represented E.I.S. on that evening. Teacher, Mr. Emmanuel Osahor, will be again available to hold an after-school dance activity from late February. More information will follow.

Mistake on Website Calendar

We apologise for the mistake on the website calendar, which some of you may have noticed. The correction has been made, and we ask that you please note that tomorrow, 31st January, is not a public holiday.

After-School Activities

After-school activities are in ‘full swing.’ Kindly make sure that your child is picked up promptly after activities at 4:00 p.m. Younger siblings should not be left to wait around for older siblings participating in activities or to just join in an activity without commitment having been made.

Odoo System and Communication

Please make sure that you are able to access our Odoo System, on which you can follow along with your child’s assignments, learning objectives and, at appropriate levels, grades. Kindly contact the school secretary if the email address which we have on file needs to be updated.

I would like to remind you of teachers’ and my availability to meet with parents, should any questions or concerns arise. If you wish to meet, kindly call the school secretary to arrange an appointment. The teachers and I welcome your input and feedback, and we count on your collaboration to maintain a healthy and productive learning environment for our children.
