Dear Parents,

We are now fully into the rhythm of the 2024-2025 academic year. We once again welcome new families who have joined us. Teachers look forward to meeting you at the upcoming Information Sessions on Monday, 7th October, in your child’s classroom. At these sessions, teachers will explain the curriculum and answer questions about classroom routines, expectations and goals. They will also introduce you to our new Odoo system, on which you can follow along with your child’s assignments, learning objectives and, at appropriate levels, grades. Please note the following times for the sessions:

Playschool and Nursery: 12:00 – 12:30

Reception – Year 5: 15:00 – 15:30

Year 6 – Year 13: 15:30 – 16:00

If you are unable to attend this event, but would like to meet with your child’s teacher (either in person or virtually), kindly contact the school secretary to set up an appointment. We also encourage you to review the Parents’ Handbook (on the website), if you have not already done so.

We thank you for your cooperation in making sure that the telephone numbers and email address which you have given to the school are working and up to date, should we need to contact you in the event of an emergency.

Charity Fundraising Drive

We extend our thanks for your generous donations and your children’s participation in the fundraising drive for the children of Terres Rouges. Congratulations go out to our Year 12 student organisers of this charity drive for their committed approach to the task. More information will be forthcoming regarding the Terres Rouges children.

After-School Activities

Our varied activity programme began last week. Please consult the school website under the After-School Activities section for the list of activities on offer and the names and phone numbers of instructors. Kindly ensure that all activity fees are settled at the start of the period. Children who are not engaged in activities must be picked up from school at 14:45.

The International Day of Peace was on Saturday, 21st September, and yet, peace remains elusive in many parts of the world. Our reflections and prayers go out to those who are suffering due to war and lack of peace.
