Dear Parents,

I extend a warm welcome back to the entire school community, along with wishes for peace and good health in the New Year.

We thank you once again for your Christmas donations. The items were delivered to Saint Dominique Orphanage. All there were very happy to receive the donations.

Please make note of the following information and dates:

Public Holiday – Wednesday, 10th January

School will be closed on this day to honour traditional religions in Benin.

Post-Mock Cambridge IGCSE / Advanced Level Examinations Meetings

Letters will go out next week to parents of Years 11 – 13 students regarding these meetings. Appointment times will be set for parents and students to meet with teachers during the week of 15th January.

School Uniform and Sports Kit

Please remind your children to be prepared for school and sports lessons with the appropriate uniform and kit. The correct attire for games and tennis lessons is as follows: White t-shirt (without designs or writing), black shorts and sports shoes.

After-School Activities

After-school activities will start next week. Please remember that payment should be made at the start of the term. You may consult the school website for details of the activities on offer, as well as instructors’ contact numbers. Kindly make sure that your child is picked up promptly after activities at 4:00 p.m. Younger siblings should not be left to wait around for older siblings participating in activities.

We have been pleased to see a few of our EIS alumni returning to school to visit and share their experiences and memories with teachers and students. We are proud of how well our alumni are doing in their various careers and institutes of higher learning. We wish them continued success in their endeavours.
