Pre-School
Pre-School consists of Playschool and Nursery classes for children aged two and three. The Pre-school Curriculum provides an introduction to a ‘learning through play’ environment and equips the child with the early skills and concepts which will be drawn upon in the Lower School.
The schools buildings are air-conditioned with external space to play. Both are well equipped with modern learning materials and play equipment.
The school day begins at 8:00 with a break at 9:30 and the school day ends at 12:00.
At this stage school uniform is not compulsory, but clothing should be comfortable and hard wearing.
Parents are encouraged to involve themselves in their child’s school life by reading and playing with them. Parent conferences are held three times a year but parents are welcome to visit school at any time to talk to teachers. Reports are issued twice a year and emphasise the child’s social development.
